Scholarship ApplicationNumerous scholarships are awarded to new and returning Valley City State University students each year. Awards are very competitive and applications should be submitted before January 15 to receive priority consideration for the following academic year. To be considered for an academic scholarship, identify the link below that best describes you and complete the online form linked to it. Should you have any questions, please contact Enrollment Services if you are going to be a new VCSU student or Financial Aid if you are a returning student.
Do I Qualify For A Scholarship?Because of the generous support of our alumni and friends, numerous scholarships are awarded to new Valley City State University students each year.
You can have your transcripts mailed to VCSU and we will evaluate your information to see if you qualify for a scholarship. If you qualify, we will mail out an award letter! Your ACT/SAT scores and GPA could qualify you for an academic scholarship: $1000 Scholarship Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater OR ACT composite score of 18 or greater (850 SAT [Math & Critical Reading score combination]). $1500 Scholarship Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater AND ACT composite score of 18 or greater (850 SAT [Math & Critical Reading score combination]). $2500 Scholarship Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater AND ACT composite score of 23 or greater (1050 SAT [Math & Critical Reading score combination]). $2500 Renewable Scholarship ~ $5000 Value Over Two Years Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater AND ACT composite score of 25 or greater (1130 SAT [Math & Critical Reading score combination]). ($2500 freshman year plus an additional $2500 if GPA of 3.5 is earned after freshman year) $10,000 Presidents Scholarship Cumulative GPA of 3.75 or greater AND ACT composite score of 28 or greater (1240 SAT [Math & Critical Reading score combination]). ($2500 freshman year plus an additional $2500 per year if GPA of 3.5 is maintained) |
